At Soto we want to make looking after your plants as easy and enjoyable as possible. The Peace Lily profile will help you get to know your new plant.

The Peace Lily also known as Spathiphyllum, is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. The plant is a member of the Araceae family and gained additional popularity in the 1980s when it was featured in NASA's Clean Air Study.

Peace Lilies prefer bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. They can adapt to low-light conditions, making them suitable for offices or rooms with less natural light.

Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Peace Lilies are sensitive to underwatering, and their leaves will droop when they need water but watering usually revives the plant quickly.

Peace Lilies thrive in high humidity but can tolerate average indoor humidity levels. Brown tips on leaves can be a sign of low humidity. To increase humidity or try placing a tray of water near the plant.

Remove yellow or brown leaves at the base of the plant using clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears. Deadheading encourages more blooms.
