Blue Star Fern is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, including Florida, the Caribbean, and parts of South America.

The Blue Star Fern (Phlebodium aureum) is primarily appreciated for its unique blue-green foliage and adaptability to indoor environments.

The Blue Star Ferns prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate lower light levels but may not thrive in low-light conditions. This plant thrives in temperatures between 15-24°C, it is sensitive to cold temperatures and should be protected from drafts and sudden temperature changes.

It is important to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Grouping plants together can create a more humid environment as plants release moisture through a process called transpiration. Position your Blue Star Fern near other plants to benefit from collective humidity.
