





Fennel
Fennel is a tall herb with aromatic, feathery foliage and large bright yellow flowers. The whole plant is edible and tastes like aniseed. The fern like leaves look great in a border or as part of a kitchen garden. Not to be confused with the vegetable, Florence fennel.
Plants will be delivered from the last week of March to protect them from frost damage. If you would like them earlier, please get in touch.
A member of the Soto team will be in contact in mid-March to arrange a convenient date for delivery.



Top Tip
Remove flower heads, before they run to seed, to prevent the seeds spreading.
How to care for Fennel

Aspect
Fennel prefers full sun.

Care Level
Removed dead stems at the end of summer.

Watering
Drought tolerant once established.

Feeding
Plant with a good quality, peat free compost. In Spring add compost to the soil to provide extra nutrients.

Soil
The most important thing is to ensure the soil is well drained.
